One on one with Nimesh

Nimesh Dinubhai always knew from a young age that he wanted to grow up working with computers. He was born in 1977 in India and moved to Panama for 8 years then went back to his home town. He took his first computer class there and was hooked from the get-go. His parents could see his enthusiasm build and knew that their son would be determined enough to make it. Moving to America was the next logical solution, and his dad was sure to let Nimesh know that it was for his further education and opportunities that they left their country. This was something that weighed heavy on Nimesh heart and he was determined to make his parents proud.

Growing up, Nimesh admits he was never a smart kid, but smart enough to know that without an education, he would not be able to live out his dream. He received his Bachelor of Computer Information Systems in 2001 from the University of DeVry. By 2003 he became President and CEO of his own company Websrefresh. His dreams were finally coming true. Today Websrefresh is a leading web design and web development company in Phoenix, AZ. I asked Nimesh “Why web designing”? He said because he would Google small businesses and hotel sites and could see how much better they could be, and how much more profitable a business could be with the right technology incorporated into their site. As a kid, he just wanted to make pretty websites. I would say he come a long way.

He started out with a very small client base, but knew that in order to market himself and his company, he needed to go that extra mile to show his uniqueness. He joined AAHOA (Asian American Hotel Owners Association) and was immediately drawn in. Within a very short time, he was a huge game player in the Association and in fact, after becoming a lifetime member, he went on to become an Ambassador of AAHOA earning him much respect and admiration from his colleges and friends in the hospitality industry. He has now become a regular contributor to magazines such as Asian Hospitality Magazine and Hospitality Upgrade Magazine with articles that offer tips and advice on topics like web designing and social media marketing to improve return on investments.

Nimesh loves to share his passion for his work and to help others learn about the advantages of advanced, technology based websites. He posts tips, advice and articles on his website blog, LinkedIn and other social media sites. He is forever learning and wants others to reap the rewards of his education. However, there is so much more to him then just his passion for his company.

Nimesh married his beautiful wife, Jagruti, and has two rambunctious kids, Parth and Krishna. As a husband, father, and business owner, Nimesh works very hard to balance his life so that his success reaches all levels. It helps that Websrefresh is completely run from his office. He is very involved in his community and attends many social and religious functions with this family. He believes that the heart of a good life begins with faith and the love of God; and he surrounds his family and himself with the love and wisdom of Lord Krishna. He owns two hotels, (one of which earned the Historical Hotel Award in 2014), plays with the kids and creates websites all in a day’s work!

Nimesh is a man of religion and faith and a devout believer in human spirituality. He believes that in order to be successful in this material life, we must first be in sync with our spiritual side. A typical morning for him would start with yoga and meditation with the rising sun and end with an hour or so at the gym. Yoga, he says, helps to keep his body healthy and more importantly, to discipline his mind. Health is wealth as he would often preach to me during our interview. Talking to him was as inspirational to me as a learning experience because he is always striving to improve himself, his life and more importantly, the lives of others as well.

In one of our first meetings, he introduced me to The Secret, a book and philosophy that he is a very strong believer in. The Secret is a best-selling 2006 self-help book written by Rhonda Byrne, based on the law of attraction and claims that positive thinking can create life-changing results such as increased happiness, health, and wealth. He knew that I was having personal struggles and coached me using Rhonda Byrnes Secret philosophy to help me reach many of the goals I have reached today. When interviewing Nimesh, he gave off such a positive vibe which he attributes to his need to constantly learn and improve on himself and use the knowledge he attains to reach others as well to succeed.

He dedicates a great amount of time attending self-help and business seminars to help him in his personal and business life. One very strong influence for him is New Peaks which he has involved himself in for the past five years. New Peaks is a personal and business development company and in fact, one of the largest in North America. Seminars, books, yoga, and faith have helped him to become the honest and caring man he is today.

The sole advantage of power is that you can do more good.

I can think of no other quote that better defines Nimesh. One of his life goals is to fund a school for under privileged kids that live in the streets of India. He wants to have highly educated and celebrated teachers from around the world teach these kids how to succeed in life and to be an entrepreneur. I am sure he will succeed in this and leave behind a legacy his kids will be proud of.
